As was very common at the time, young composers often didn't name their tunes but rather just played them out in sessions. Such was the case with several of Martin's tunes that were later renamed by him (after becoming very popular). #9 was so well known that Martin choose to keep the original number of his ninth composition. Also know as Mulhaire's #3 as a place holder on the Ceili Band Album.
